#32 menu rendering errors with font hinting disabled

With font-hinting disabled and using certain metacity
themes (clearlooks included) there is a small rendering
glitch at the tops of the menus. It looks as if the
title bar is being rendered behind the menu itself.

This happens in other metacity themes as well. Not
sure where the error is occuring, be it in the engine
or in the metacity theme. This occurs in 0.6 as well
as in cvs (also in cairo build).
