Clean Explorer / News: Recent posts

I have been hard at work coding to replace the dismal Visual Basic .1 with something a bit more robust and functional, but now with the incoming Windows 8 it seems the project may be outdated soon anyway. So, for the moment, I am pausing the development of Clean Explorer until Windows 8 comes into mass circulation. When it does, my plans are to replace the new ribbon interface with familiar, albeit smaller, toolbar buttons, so that the project's focus on a clean interface can be intertwined with a desire to remove Microsoft's latest attempt to be shiny enough for the masses while disregarding the power users.
