I want to run classweb for a free online course on a paid hosted website that runs Perl, php and sql.
Can this be done? Do I need access to the server root or will my account be sufficient?
All apache modules are available and the sql server is accessible.

I think that you can, though in the install instructions http://classweb.ucla.edu/install.htm where it says to change the Apache
config, you'll have to get that programs directory variable
CLASSWEB_PROGRAMS hardcoded some other way instead of as an environment
variable. Let me know what problems you run into. If you keep notes as
you go, we can post them as a HOW TO for this type of install. OK?

I think that you can, though in the install instructions
http://classweb.ucla.edu/install.htm where it says to change the Apache
