The Java 8 SDK includes changes to deep linking within javadocs, which means for Class Viewer to get to the method it has to shift how it builds the link! And that change has been made with the latest Class Viewer 5.1 dated July 3, 2014 or later.
It's actually not a bad change in my opinion which simplifies things like by removing spaces which form the built link. And is actually easier for the application to build.
