[Classifier4j-devel] What does this method do - normaliseSignificance( )

I understand just about everything that's going on in this package, except
for the following method:

 

Class BayesianClassifier

 

protected static double normaliseSignificance(double sig)

 

 

Could you please explain the role it plays.
