In Previous versions of windows explorer some programs, such as TortoiseCVS, make use of custom columns. It seems that Microsoft has removed this ability. I noticed that a paid for product (xplorer2: http://www.zabkat.com/blog/07Feb10-column-handlers-revived.htm) has implemented the iColumnProvider API to once again support custom columns.
Would this be possible in The Classic Shell implementation of Windows Explorer?
