#167 Item Spacing in File Pane??
Would it be possible to have an Item Spacing in the File Pane similar to the one for the Navigation Pane? The File Pane items are space out wider than the old WinXp Explorer and therefor not displaying as much info per page, i.e. less productive.
Would be great with an Item Spacing option in the settings.

Unfortunately, this is not possible because the File Pane of Explorer uses a private system control called ItemsView, the behavior and APIs of which are undocumented.
Explorer can be forced to use the older ListView control by a reg hack which has much narrow spacing like Vista;/XP. A safe way without registry editing would be to install a software like Folder Options X (http://free-sk.t-com.hr/T800/software/FolderOptions.htm) and turn on the setting called "Enable icon reordering". This will force ListView in Explorer and reduce the spacing. To revert to ItemsView, just uncheck all options in Folder Options X.
