A command which adds current folder do the Links
Start menu and Windows enhancement software

I've created a drop down menu in the classic folder tool-bar (Links | %USERPROFILE%\Links). Links folder contains windows explorer favourites. I need a command which adds current folder do the Links. I would like to add this command to the classic shell tool-bar. Another feature would be removing Favourites from directories tree in Explorer. Thank you for your great job.
You can probably write a small javascript file to create a shortcut of the current folder in Links. See the documentation how to get the current folder.
As for hiding Favorites, the www.sevenforums.com site has tutorials on that.

You can use this free app called Send To Toys (http://www.gabrieleponti.com/software/). It contains a "Folder..." item which has an option to move, copy or create shortcut in the folder on our choice.

Both features you want have been added to Windows 8 btw. There is a "Add current folder to favorites" Ribbon command and an option in Folder Option to hide favorites from the directories tree (navigation pane) in Explorer. You can also add "Add current folder to favorites" to the context menu of folders in Windows 8.
