I know most people using this software like cascading menus,
but with Windows 8 and its mess of a UI, would it be possible to disable the
All Programs folder cascading to make the it more like windows vista/7 rather
then a mish-mash that it currently is if we try to duplicate the Vista/7 look?

What is the problem you face with cascading menus that you think it is a
mish-mash? :)

ViStart is decent but is missing lots of things classic shell has (right click
happens to be one of them)
as for a mish-mash: all programs popping out is the mess I'm talking about, if
ViStart can do it (duplicating Vista/7 way), I'm sure Classic Shell can be
made to. Just an option would be great.

Yes, Classic Shell can be made to do a lot of things, like play Tetris.
However what you are describing is significantly different from the current
behavior (just like playing Tetris) so it is unlikely to ever happen.
The same argument can be said for ViStart - I'm sure it can be made to support
right-click. In fact I believe it will be a much easier change, especially
considering that Classic Shell is open-source, so the ViStart developers can
examine how it's done.

Good news. The latest Classic Shell version 3.9.0 has 100% lookalike of the Windows 7 Start Menu. Basically, Classic Shell is now 2 different implementations of the Start Menu in 1 product. :)

Not possible. The Vista behavior is radically different. Looks like ViStart is
your best option.
