Is it possible to add option to hide/disable that arrow next to Toolbar Button
with dropdown menu?
Now there is no icon, so only "standard" arrow is visible.. I'd like to create
own arrow icon themed like other icons on my toolbar and hide/disable that
black "standard" one.
Classic Explorer uses the system toolbar control. I think the only way to
change the arrow is to edit the theme file, but that will change the arrow for
all toolbars everywhere.
I asked for option to disable that arrow and leave only icon..
If you need a functional dropdown button, that arrow comes with it. It is not
possible to just disable that arrow unless you edit the theme file.
I do not need that dropdown button.. I want just normal icon launching
dropdown menu and I think it's pretty much doable..
While everything is "doable", this particular thing is not particularly easy.
The menu is hooked to the TBN_DROPDOWN notification. Only buttons marked with
the BTNS_DROPDOWN or BTNS_WHOLEDROPDOWN styles send this notification. And
both by default draw the arrow.
A potential solution is to find another way to show the menu, or override the
painting of the toolbar. Both are a lot of work for very little benefit. So
