So, I was trying to find where the drive icons in my computer were located, as
I wanted to do a winXP "links" bar, and use the drive icons for it, especially
the "C:\" drive icon with the windows flag.
Well, I still haven't found the windows drive icon, but I stumbled to a tip
about a DLL file named DDORes.dll, in system32 folder.
Here is an article about the icons, the bottom ones are in DDORes.dll -
    http://www.istartedsomething.com/20090605/admiring-windows-7s-high-
    resolution-device-icons/

A tip for the device icons in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Device
Metadata\dmrccache\ , they are generated/downloaded when you go to Control
    Panel -> Devices and Printers
The DDORes icons work in CSM straight, just replace "shell32.dll, xx" with
    "ddores.dll, xx" :)

Could anyone using vista check if these are win7 only or not ?

And the Links bar I was talking about - http://koti.mbnet.fi/john_edw/misc/cs

I have Vista, but there's no DDORes.dll in my system32.
I think the drive icons are in imageres.dll.

Looks like ddores.dll on Windows 7 includes lots of device icons for "Devices
    and Printers" or "Device Stage".

I've extracted those Windows 7 icons (and copied the .dll) and put them @ htt

    (8.6mb)

Extracted using the excellent and free http://icofx.ro/
