#29 a cross platform version?
hi, this is an awesome tool. However, we are working on
a whole variety of different platforms, and thus being
limited to using CB only on Win32 is a bit unfortunate.
Thus, how about creating a multi platform version? I am
not sure if this has been brought up before, but what I
am sure about is that many other users would like to
use CB as well. Likewise, you would open up CB to an
entirely new group of potential contributors. I realize
this is something that cannot be addressed within weeks
or even months, however if would definatively be cool
if you could consider keeping this as some sort of
long-range or maybe even medium-range goal on your roadmap.
Generally, it would be cool if the functionality could
be factored out into a library that can be linked to a
multi platform library such as QT, wxWidgets, Fox, GTK
or FLTK. That way you would be able to ensure that a
broader audience of users is able to actually use CB.
Anyway, thanks again for a great tool-currently it's
basically the only reason why I keep Win XP installed
on my notebook ;-)
