[Clamwin-users] ClamWin offline installation in Schools

Hi,

We represent a social organization. We develop public
license educational CDs for the rural area schools.

We will be releasing a Utility Software CD in which we
have added ClamWin as antivirus. But the problem is
that when we will install ClamWin in the schools, it
demands internet connection for downloading antivirus
database. And in the schools we just can not have
internet facility.

So my question is: can we have ClamWin installable
where antivirus database is already included in it?

yes, the main download already has the database files included

However to keep it up-to-date you may use some other means of updates,

Hey

Ba avare that ClamWin doesent scan for virus when you are working, only =
on
demand.

Is that enough, thougt that eiu doesent have internet connection...

Just a question that is up to you.
