Hi We've been using clamwin 0.88.7 with an internal signatures server containing main.cvd and daily.cvd loaded via freshclam from clamav 0.90 with the setting: ScriptedUpdates no Now on upgrading to clamwin 0.90 it tries to update via diff files first and fails, but finally falls back to using the cvd files. Is there any setting to bypass the diff lookup, so all my users don't get frightened? Cheers Bill |

Try to do another update, it should be back to normal since it gets it the first time. I see that you use local intranet for updates, then you should also copy all the diff files from clamav database site. Having thought about that we will remove the cdiff not found warnings in the next update. IN the meanwhile you can either ignore the warning message or copy cdiffs to your local db server. The diff method is only for when you access their servers or official mirrors directly. Anyway, thanks for your help, and we can live with the warnings for the time being. Also, thanks for providing clamwin. It really helps in a mixed Linux/Windoze environment. Cheers Bill |
