I've noticed that I can install ClamWin on a standard windows server share and have all my servers use the binaries and preferences from that share. This seems to work out nicely since I can just update //server/share/ClamAV and have it ready for all my servers. However, each server does not know that this is the case. So for instance, they all must have the same schedule since they load the same preference file. It might be nice to have a per-machine preference file from the GUI. So for instance, the machine knows it's name and can select it's own specific settings or shared settings. I suspect this is the strength of starting with a *nix philosophy since binaries and config files are not assumed to reside on the running machine.
