Is this project still alive? I see the last update was 2014-07-18.
The summary does not mention Windows 10...
Alternative.to claims that Clam Sentinel is discontinued: http://alternativeto.net/software/clam-sentinel/
What's the current status?
Any chance this project moves to GitHub (If it's still alive)?
TIA :-)

Yes, the Clam Sentinel Project has been discontinued as of around July
2014. There will be no new versions. The Clam Sentinel heuristics are
still good at detecting Windows executable malware, but they do not
detect non-Windows malware like JavaScript, Word macros, etc.. More and
more malware is using non-Windows executables. Clam Sentinel relies upon
ClamWin for non-Windows executable malware detection. I am still using
ClamSentinel and ClamWin, but I also use Forticlient free antivirus and
Zemana Free antimalware.
I recommend you use Fortinet's free Forticlient antivirus. It offers very
good protection from browsing malicious web sites, and it has a very good
malware overall detection rate. It is simple to use/configure and has
several updates daily. Fortinet specializes in protecting major
corporations from malware and intrusion threats, so it is very good. You
do not really need any AV other than Forticlient for good protection.
The ClamWin project is still currently in operation, but all the ClamWin
developers do is preapare a Windows port, which sometimes does not include
new protections that are in the Clam AV Linux program from which they
prepare the Windows port. I do not think ClamWin will be around much
longer.
I plan to wait until Clam AV comes our with their version 1.0 to see what
happens with Clam Sentinel and ClamWin. If they are not improved by then,
I will discontinue using them.

I'm using Forticlient on some machines too, but forticlient is sometimes very, very bad.
Disappearing desktop folders (https://forum.fortinet.com/tm.aspx?m=129943) and worse, in one network I had strange problems with printers, it turned out I had on some machines on this segment (connected to one switch) "Block known communication channels" enabled in Forticlient (this option is disabled by default) and this caused Kyocera and OKI printers to hang (yes) and disappear from the network. After turning this option off everything was fine again. This was tested by me for about 2-3 weeks until I was sure it's forticlients fault, so I'm trying to NOT use Forticlient when it's possible. Another serious problem with forticlient is - it kills Windows Backups. I'm not able to run a windows backup (containing system images) with forticlient enabled, or even installed because it somehow blocks the Windows Backup process (Testet on Windows 10) because it does not allow the backup process to backup the EFI partition. So as You can see I was initially very excited by Forticlient, but now I'm no longer, I'm rather scared by all these problems :-)

I am using Forticlient on my home computer, so I don't have any problems
like you described. You would think they would have gotten the bugs
out--it's been around for a few years now. I guess it's hard to cover all
the bases with a piece of software--it can't be tested in all
configurations, so they rely upon users to tell them of any problems. I
hope you told them about yours. They were very receptive when I told them
they needed a whitelist when I tested version 1 shortly after it was
released. Their primary experience was with "black box" security. Lately
they seem just as interested in their stock price as they are in security!
