#23 ClamAV not listentnig on port

Dear Support team,

we are trying to configure ClamAV for SAP.Folowing the guide on SUSEs website .However when trying to activate the SAP virus adapter it gives an errro indicating that configuration in SAP is not abelto read the confguration on OS level. SAP expects default port but when checking on OS level the default port is chagned to 5555. I found a forum entry where even the actual ClamAV deamon is not listening properly and when checked we have the same issue,Evertything is documented in the attached word.
My questions are :

1. How to verify the os level ClamAV processes and deamons are running correclty and listening on the defined nondfeult port 5555.
2. Is SAP supposed to be able to read these ClamAV parameters /configuration files by default from OS or do we have to define the location via parameters in VSGROUP transaction ? Or defining the library path in transaction VSCAN should be enough as mentioned in the SUSE guide .

Let me reproduce it. So you use clamd (daemon) and you want use libclamdsap.so with VSCAN_RFC

About your question 2. You can define all parameters including the connect to clamd in VSCANGROUP.

I have setup SLES15 SP2 and there the port was 3310, however if it is in your case 5555

Then please setup INITSERVERS with parameter tcp://127.0.0.1:5555
