Hello,
I wrote a simple sample program for the clallserial.dll
to establish serial communication over a coreco grabber
(clsercor.dll CameraLink standard v1.0). First my
program gets the number of all serial ports available
on the system (clGetNumPorts(), which is only 1:
X64_port0) and then tries to retrieve infomation (per
clGetPortInfo()) about all port available, this failes
with a NULL pointer exception. The exception is caused
by SerialPortv1_0::SerialClose() (the manuSerialRef is
uninitialized), which is called at the end of
clGetPortInfo(). That's the point I don't understand,
with a clSerialInit() before the clGetPortInfo() the
information retrivement passes, but to get information
about the port, the port shouldn't be opened. I
attached my little main(), I wrote to figure out this
problem. I linked it against the current version of
clallserial I checked out of sourceforge. So please see
what you can do for it.

Best regards,
Paul Bartusch
