I am firstly an accountant, secondly a system developer; so I would
leave any integration (with other apps) to the middle layer, ie
phpgw.  AFAIK, there are on-going discussions to integrate DCL with
phpgw and to utilize xml-rpc to allow phpgw talk with other groupware
software (say Evolution).

There is quite an extensive range of theme/templates embedded
within phpgw to choose from.  If you have suggestions on a
corporate-look theme, you may like to send a request to
php...@gn... or better yet develop the theme
and contribute it to the phpgw theme set.

Xaraya-Ledger is a separate project handled by Marc Lutolf.  I am
forwarding this reply to Marc.  He may add his views later on.  The
install doc for the CK-Ledger's current version, v.0.7.3 is embedded
inside the software tarball's doc folders as, the
"Installation Manual - 0.7.3.html" file.
