Perhaps I'll take this opportunity to explain why the index page is written as it stands. It is my firm belief that users of open source software should choose to use such software knowing fully the risk involved. If they do pay to have a system integrator (SI) to install the software for them, then they are paying for the SI's installation service, not the software itself. So, they need to be informed of the fact that the software comes with no warranty, bugs are inevitable, etc, etc, ..... If the SI provides any post-sale service, or any guarantee thereof, it should be stated in a separate document. If the index page appears scary, it is meant to be so. I would also like to highlight one of the conditions listed on the index page, "??? is GPL software. If you display this -- Welcome to ??? -- page exactly as it is, or display this same page's translation (into a different language), without loss of meaning, then you may redistribute and/or modify it under the terms of the GNU General Public License as published by the Free Software Foundation." If you are re-distributing CK-Ledger and/or selling any product derived from the CK-Ledger source code, this requirement is a condition that you must abide by. If you don't, it is a SERIOUS BREACH of CK-Ledger's distribution license.
