Thank you for checking out CK-Ledger.
Chinese is not a required setting for CK-Ledger. In fact, the setting is
controlled by the underlying phpgw and by default it is switched off.
The error that you encountered is caused by phpgw changing the
name of the language table when it evolves from 0.9.14 to 0.9.16.
Because of this and some other even more substantial changes
to phpgw, ck-ledger-0.7.3 is not compatible to phpgw 0.9.14.
My best advice is to run,
phpgw.0.9.16RC1 + ck-ledger-0.7.3 (the latest fully tested
combination) [If you can't get hold of RC1, go for RC2]
or, phpgw0.9.14.007 + ck-ledger-0.7.1
CK-Ledger-0.7.3 is the latest tested beta version of CK-Ledger.
