#39 Issue with downloading cited refs from dimensions through citespace

Hi Dr Chaomie,

I'm currently using version 5.8R3 and am having difficulty with the dimensions api download portal through citespace. No matter what query I try, citespace can download a list of articles, but will not download their cited references. I've tried a number of the example queries you've provided, including with reference_ids or referenced_pubs added, with no success.

For example the query:
search publications in title_abstract_only for "CiteSpace" return publications[basics+extras+referenced_pubs]
Gives me articles but no associated references according to the query summary tab in citespace. Looking at the downloaded data I also see there is nothing under the CR section of the notepad files. Whereas entering the query straight into dimensions website API returns information on the cited references.

Any help would be much appreciated.

The issue has been fixed in verions of 6.1.R1 and 6.1.R2 with built dates 4/4/2022 onwards.

That's great news.

My supervisor purchased the how to use Citespace book package for me to make use of. As this was conducted through his email, is there a way I could be granted access to download new versions as they are released?
