Dear Professor Chen,
I came across a problem when using CiteSpace with Google Earth.
I am using a 5.3.R4.8.31 version and data were downloaded from WoS with Full Record and Cited References.
However, when I open the kmz file CiteSpace generated, all the dots are at the same place. I assume that was because all the location data in csv were 0 and 0.
Was thas the problem with the version I am using or did I do something wrong? How can I solve it?
The attacchment shows how the results look.
Would be very grateful if you can reply.
Thanks for reply: )
I am now in Australia, and the data were collected in Australia. but the software I'm using was downloaded when I was in China. is that the problem? should I download a new version? ( I actually tried to download the latest one, but my computer constantly warn me it contains virus and deleted it automatically)

Hello Dear Prof. Chen and Yannan Liu
I'm from Brazil and I'm having the same problem with google earth. The data is located in the same place.
I'm using the latest version of citespace R11 and Google Earth 7.3.
Any solutions found?
I am having the same problem for several weeks now, and I have adopted all your suggestion to no avail. I want to ask if anyone ever get a solution to this issue to please share with me.
I am in Hong Kong, so the issue of some services not available from China may be the case, and I have tried using the latest version of CiteSpace.
@ Professor Chen "A third-party web service used in the past is no longer available. I will investigate possible solutions." Please is there any solution yet?
@Chiara Catalano were you able to get another method to do a nice literature geomaps as illustrated in your image? If you have any, I will really appreciate it if you can share it with me.
Thank you in anticipation of your response.
Regards.

If you use it from China, that can happen because some services are not accessible from China.

I tried with the latest version, problem remains. : (
Let me test it and see if I can reproduce the problem.
Dear Professor, thank you so much!
I attached printscreens of my searching process and original data, hope that can help finding my problem.

Hi, professor, is it possible to reuse Google Earth funciton in the future?
Good day!
Is this the reason why I see the klm generator in grey as in the attachment?
Kind Regards
Chiara
Strange I don't see the attachment...
it is grey and seems like we couldn't use this function right now.
oh, pity...is there another way to do nice literature geomaps like that in the attachment?
Sorry, I don't know. I am looking for this solution too.
