Dear Prof.Chen,

I have two questions concerning the content available in Cluster Explorer:

  1. Does choice of node selection criteria affect how citation counts is calculated in CiteSpace?
In my case, I have applied g-index and Top N and observed a discrepancy between the citation counts of the same references, e.g. a reference received 11 and 10 citations respectively based on the above methods.

  2. Does the table of Citing Papers display all citers of the references in a cluster? When there is only one citer appearing in the table, does that mean the cluster in question is not reliable, as its member references were grouped together because of one single publication?

Many thanks in advance for your attention,

Zoe
