Hello teacher, I am having trouble making the connection between CiteSpace and MySQL. All precautions regarding activation of MySQL are guaranteed. However, clicking on the CiteSpace-MySQL connection and entering the Host, User, and Password data and creating the .ini file always returns the message that it was not possible.
What can I do to resolve this issue?
I had heard of it once in the past. It is probably to do with how you setup MySQL. In any case, the solution does not involve any changes in CiteSpace. I will update if I have any specific suggestions to give to you.

Dear Professor, I would like to know which versions between citespace and Mysql are most compatible so I can try.
I have been using MySQL Community Server 5.6.14. It shouldn't matter which version of CiteSpace, but you never know.
