    Dear Professor Chen,

I have a question about building a concept tree in MySQL. I follow your instructions from here, but I keep getting the SQL Query Error (please see attached screenshot). Would you suggest what might be the problem and how I can resolve it? I would much appreciate it.

    Best regards,

    Glib Voloskyi

I have a chance to reconstruct the problem you described on a Windows 10. This is what you can try:
modify the my.ini file by changing secure_file_priv=""
find the MySQL service: Properties > Log On > Local System account, restart MySQL

If you encounter a dialog box of "Additional Resource Required" on your way to create a concept tree, follow the instruction, download the exe file to your .citespace.

Then you should be ready to complete the concept tree visualization function.

By the way, the next version 5.8.R1 (beta for now) will upgrade the MySQL support to MySQL 5.6, 5.7, and 5.8.

And another question on this. When trying to visualize a hierarchy of keywords in this part of CiteSpace, I get this error message . But that folder is no longer available. Is there another place we can find it?

    Yes it does! Thanks much
