Hello CiteSpace community,

I’m facing a parsing issue when trying to use CiteSpace with data that I prepared as follows:

CSV format (self-configured- mixed database- wos and scopus ).

Then I converted the CSV into a WOS-tagged TXT file to make it compatible with CiteSpace.

However, when I load the converted TXT file into CiteSpace, the software fails to parse the records correctly. It either throws errors or does not recognize the fields as expected.

My questions are:

Is there a recommended workflow for merging WOS and Scopus data so that CiteSpace can parse them without issues?

Are there specific formatting rules or mandatory tags that must be included when converting CSV to WOS-tagged TXT?

Has anyone successfully handled mixed WOS + Scopus datasets in CiteSpace, and if so, what conversion steps worked best?** Note: I have also tried the option of converting self config CSV to WOS-tag txt (preprocessing done) using import data option in citespace advanced. But the effort was in vain.
