We have recently attempted to use MAG data downloaded through Citespace 5.8.R1 (built from 23 May), but there appears to be trouble with citation contexts. When I start to layout the network, I see the error (image 1), even though there is a file with contexts in the data folder (image 2). Could you please suggest what might be the problem and potential ways to fix it?
The contexts file is automatically created by the downloading function as citation_contexts.tsv.
After the download step with the first button, you need to go through the next few buttons/steps, e.g., load contexts, compute uncertainty, etc. You will need a MySQL at localhost for these steps.
