Time slicing appears not working (versions 5.6.R.3 and above)

When #years per slice is set to be more than 1 in versions 5.6.R3 and above, CiteSpace doesn't appear to follwo this command and calculate Top N for every year irrespective of the number chosen for #years per slice. Can you please advise how to enable this function in recent versions?
