I am writing to consult you about a detail in CiteSpace. I wonder what colors of convex hulls (of clusters) mean and whether they are connected with years (cf. ATTACHMENTS). If so, what happend in the year (for instance, it is in the year with corresponding clolor that the majority of references in the cluster are co-cited) ?
Users have the options to color convex hulls based on the average year of publications as citing articles (citer years) or as cited references (cited references' year of publication on average).
