The dialog box says to set two system environment variables. Are those the Windows-wide system environment variables; sthg in the .bat file; sthg else? Thanks for specifying.

On Windows, control panel > systems ... > Advanced > Change Environment Variables > Add them there.
On Macs, export DimensionsUser=X
