Dear professor Chen,
I would like to know how I can increase the memory dedicated to the operation of CiteSpace. Thank you very much for creating this discussion space.
Sincerely,

If you are using Windows and the .exe file for CiteSpace, it is automatically optimized to make use 90% of your RAM.
If you are using other operating systems, you will need to modify the JVM parameters, in particular, modify script or the batch file: -Xmx4g. For example, you can change it to -Xmx32g for allocating up to 32GB of memory to JVM.

Thank you very much for the information. I would also like to know if it is
possible to use Thesaurus in CiteSpace. Thank you for your attention,
Lucas

Could you elaborate it? CiteSpace does not come with any thesaurus. If you want to use it as a filter, then it is possible. It is also possible to use it via alias, where you can replace actual terms with anything from your thesaurus.

Thank you very much, Mr. Chen. I have a little thesaurus. So, I can make a
filter and replace it with the terms I want.
All the best,
Lucas

i tried to change the batch file to xmx8g, but it does not work, the JVM stays at 100+M in the interface. windows 10, citespace version6.1.R2 64it
You should do some homework on xmx to understand how it is supposed to behave.
