CiteSpace 5.8.R1 takes forever to convert Scopus data (both ris and csv)

    Dear Prof Chaomei,
I was able to analyze Scopus data with CiteSpace, including with version 5.8.R1, until two days ago without any issue. Since then it has started failing to convert Scopus data (including data I was able to analyze previously). I tried both ris and csv (converted to tab delimited as required) without any success. It keeps running forever. I also uninstalled and reinstalled the newest version today from https://citespace.podia.com/ (CiteSpace.5.8.R1-installer.exe) but it still fails at converting the data.

Strange enough, one of my students is having the same issue since yesterday, with exactly the same patterns on a different computer.

I don't know what this issue might be. A screen capture of the log is attached below. I hope it helps identify the issue.

The problem is solved after downloading the data again from Scopus. I still don't know what the issue was but it works now.

    Dear Prof Chaomei,

The problem persists and CiteSpace still fails to convert data downloaded from Scopus, both ris and csv. It works for some data and randomly fails with other data, which makes me believe there might be some recent changes either to CiteSpace new version or Scopus database that is causing the problem, depending on the data downloaded .

I am attaching an example of dataset that fails to convert in CiteSpace.

I've checked your data. It looks the problem was caused by some minor issues with the data (missing data). I have fixed it. Will upload an updated version of CiteSpace shortly.
Attached is the successfully converted data file and a screenshot of the visualized network.
