Dear Professor Chen,
I have an issue with analysis of the categories. I use data from Web of Science, but when I run the analysis in Citespace, it extracts and maps WoS categories, research areas and Web of Science index all together, which is the problem, because they overlap. I checked the source files, and these 3 kinds of data are in separate fields, so it should not be a database problem. Can you probably advice a solution for this?
All other analyses work fine.
I add screenshot of the network summary.
Thank you!
Sincerely,
Iana
Thank you, no, I used 5.8.R3.
I now installed 6.1.R1 and wanted to try again, but it does not show me the option for the analysis of categories at all.

The current version uses WoS categories only. Are you using 6.1.R1?
