Hiya would like to say this software is really good and i can not fault to much with it, part from i think it could do with a higher tick frequency. Atleast getting into the mhz. I understand that not all computers could run it too high put im sure people would set it to a rate there computer can handle.

In the next version, to be released in the next few days, I've addressed this by adding options going up to 1024 Hz. The existing code isn't written to handle more than 1KHz, and adapting it to handle greater speeds would risk introducing new bugs, which was something I want to avoid with this new release.

The fact is that simulating a circuit takes a *lot* of computation for each tick, so it is unrealistic to hope for a MHz rate. Incidentally, I measured the top-rate speed by using the circuit accompanying bug #1938274 on a Core 2 Duo T5800 processor (2.0GHz), and it operated at 40 Hz. Admittedly, that's a fairly large circuit. On a circuit with just a single AND gate, I removed all throttling, and it seemed to hover around 1 or 2 KHz.
