#147 Logisim won't start.

Hi! I downloaded logisim and have been encountering difficulties running it, at first it wouldn't run so i updated java. After updating java i encountered the same problem as described in this thread: https://sourceforge.net/p/circuit/bugs/125/, I attempted to implement the suggested solutions, adding -plain and using -clearprefs, also tried to open the .jar but none of them work, dragging a .circ into the executable file doesn't work either. My operating system if relevant is windows 8.1, any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!
