I have a default build of Fedora Core2,  which
i've installed cipe-linux 1.6.0   All appears to work until i attempt
to send some traffic down the tunnel, everything just locks up.
Which appears to be the same result as ilgiz post.

    Cheers

Just tested the current build in CVS that crashes the
      kernel as well ....

      FYI

FC3 base image with 2.6.10 kernel works with cipe-1.6.0
if the kernel is recompiled with REGPARM disabled

"# goto menu 'Processor type and features'
      # disable 'Use register arguments (EXPERIMENTAL)'
(This is the real trick, THANKS Sascha Wuestemann !!!)
      config REGPARM = disabled"

version system-config-network-1.3.16 works ok and has the
cipe features enabled, you will also need to copy
the following to your new build.
      /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifup-cipcb
      /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifdown-cipcb

      Cheers

FC3 base with 2.6.10 works but is not stable, things lag
      when you start restarting interfaces.
The same build with current cvs release causes kernel crash
when you unload the cipcb module ...
I found cipe to be stable enough on 2.4.x kernels but cipe on
2.6.x is just not viable right now.
