I'm interested in porting the HE to the Linux platform (specifically the Raspberry Pi to provide a small, portable CIGI host for stand-alone IG testing and demonstration). This would require the GUI to be implemented with a cross-platform GUI SDK. Some of the usual suspects would be GTK+, QT 5, or TK. If we wanted the new HE to be Python-based, which might fit well with the notion the HE doesn't use the CCL so it can test the CCL, the Kivy SDK could be an interesting choice.
The alternative, of course, is that I build a new cross-platform CIGI host application using the CCL, but that seems counter-productive.
