[Chrootssh-users] scp to chroot prisoner

when I try to scp a file to a user, I get the error:

unknown user 503
lost connection
(this is after I enter my password.)

interestingly enough, I can ssh into the same client with no problem.

I believe this must tie into my same problem of not being able to use  
an authentication key to log in, but I may be wrong.
