Hi, I tried, pathetically, to update OpenSSH to 4.5p1 today. Apparently, it may be significantly different than the last release we trusted (4.2p1) to run? The /usr/local/libexec/sftp-server in my chroot jail insists on reading the /etc/nsswitch.conf, /usr/lib/nss_blah.so.1, /etc/passwd, /etc/shadow and /etc/group files? Even then, it bombs out and logs less than it should. I have so many problems with it I don't know where to start -- have there been many significant changes to 4.5p1 that would prevent me from using the chroot patch? I looked at the changelog for openssh and there are some suspicious things around, but I'm not sure how many problems I have yet.
