Hi, i have successfully compiled the openssh-3.9p1-chroot.tar.gz tarball, yesterday. All works fine, sftp, chroot ... The only thing not running is the resolve of uids and gid in the chroot-cage. So the uid and gid of all files and directorys are displayed as numbers when using ls. The same with bash. It can't change uid into real name for example on prompt. I copied /etc/passwd and /etc/group into /path/to/ cage/etc. Login works fine but only with the described problem. do you know the problem and much more important a solution :o) ? thanks and regards miru |
