I'm trying to setup chrootssh on a FreeBSD 4.8 box. I've been following the chrooted sftp howto (http://chrootssh.sourceforge.net/docs/chrootedsftp.html), and everything went smoothly until I got to the point where the instructions said to create a new user account with a home directory of "/path/to/chroot/./home/username". AFAIK, under FreeBSD (and I'm pretty sure under Linux too), you can't create a "." directory since "." refers to the present working directory. Am I misunderstanding the directions? Matt |
