Using Ubuntu 10.04.1 (yes Gnome) with Compiz shows me an error in the Terminal
Qt Fatal: HMAC(SHA1) is not supported!
Aborted

Was really hoping this will work out sine I have no other idea what for an application I can try to make Twitter working again.
Strange that for Debian it shows me exactly the same error.

    try installing :

    libqca2-plugin-ossl

qoauth//chronicon needs that, but it cannot be made a strict dependency for chronicon because
    (1) its a plugin, and (b) chronicon/basic will work without it.

Anything else that depends on qoauth will most likely have the same issue, with the same message.

This happens when a plugin is missing. In this case, try installing

    libqca2-plugin-ossl

    chronicon/qoauth needs that, chronicon/basic doesn't.

Works fine when requirements are installed
