Without much ado, release 0.4.0 has been announced. It has numerous bug fixes that missed my testing last time around. The biggest change was dropping all the legacy themes and replacing it with a single modern.css. Does look like it got a major overhaul!
This has support for the dewey decimal system. I have attached a CSV file that you can import using your favorite tool into the class table. (That's about 1000 classifications).
I am pleased to announce the release of 0.3.0. Fixed a number of bugs related to deletion of entries. Also improved the user exprience through the use of confirmation alerts. Chronicles2000 now supports multiple users.
After a 15 year haitus, I am pleaseed to announce the release of version 0.2 of Chronicles2000. Following are the changes included in the release:
1. Work with PHP 5.5 and above (a lot of functions were deprecated since the initial beta was released) - uses the mysqli family of functions and POST variables.
2. Better session management
3. Included security functions to prevent XSS based attacks
4. Fixed the reports
5. Fixed screens that use date functions
Well, the first beta has been released which has security management through the use of sessions. All people having versions prior to this release must upgrade as it addresses a lot of bugs.
People, with the release of 0.0.9 of chronicles2000, we're all set to release the first beta after security has been integrated into the system. So hang in there!
