Hi, I'm a physics student at Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal and we have a HPV (high performance visualization) project which consists of configuring chromium to parallelize the rendering of images generated by opendx. Before proceeding, I would like to know about rendering performance with sort-first architecture. In other words, if I can expect to be able to obtain real-time rendering. The cluster used is equiped with 8 dual- opteron 246 amd64 (2GB RAM/node) nodes with nVidia Quadro FX1000 and gigabit interconnect. Thank you very much. Hugues |
