Just a few days since the release of Christine 0.2.0 and now we have another new release. This time is a bug fix release.
As usual you may download two sources package and one Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex package in the download area.
I'm releasing Christine 0.2.0 as stable. I have been working with it for several weeks and after fixing some bugs reported I feel it quite stable to be used for everyone.
From here, we are going to release patch revisions of 0.2 branch and keep working in the development branch fro 0.3.
Thank you to everyone who contribuite with this release, bug submitters, patchers, packagers and users.
There is a wiki page for the next christine 0.3 where we are going to set the goals for the next release. This is your time to contribute with your Ideas!.
Go and put your feature request.
We will check this page and the most important feature request will be marked as goals for the next christine release.
I have created the new 0.2.0 release of christine. Even when this
release is not completely stable I have created the release to store the
unstable 0.2 files and allow the users to make tests and report
bugs :-)

The code of christine 0.1.x is again in the trunk for those that want to check the code and didn't find it.
Christine is going to evolve from here.
This is another bugfix release of the well known christine media player.
* Fixed a bug that doesn't show the queue list after it was hided by the emtpy list check and then add another item to the list.
* Improved search box. It will start searching after a small time you have stop typing you search.
* AutoHide Search box. If searchbox has no focus it hides itself.
Get it from the download area. .tar.gz, .tar.bz2 and the package Ubuntu 7.10 are available.
This is a new bugfix release, most of them about encoding.
There is also an start up improvement. Loading just the song name and then in another subprocess fill the model with the whole data. Allowin christine installations with too much song in the list load in the half of the time. (In my machine christine load with 4000 song in 1.5 secs.)
There is a new Christine version. 0.1.2 wich fixes seveal bugs. There
are no new features, just bugfixes.
I hope, to have the time to give some love to christine in this week.
I notice today that start-up and search in chrsitine are a bit slower
using a bunch of songs (Test with ~14000). So, I need to optimize this.
Please feel free to download and test christine, there is a Ubuntu Gutsy
Gibbon package in the downloads section too.... read more

Demrit, nibblesmx and I are working in the new style of christine code. So, don't trust in the SVN code because it may be broken. Until new advise, use the cvs, wich contans the las version before switching to SVN.
This is the third development relese of Christine. With a little more work over the last release. Again, this release is for those that want to explore christine or those that can't wait to use a Very Cool and Light media player.

Yes,another development version, because some people have problems with the 0.0.1 tarball. I upload another tarball with the same name but in some mirrors the tarball is still corrupt. So, there is another file. I check it and it does work. I hope nobody else have the same problem.
