One of the things we do here at our DCPHP meetings is have an "open question" time where people throw out issues that they've been dealing with recently (solved or not) to get feedback. It's stunning how often you're dealing with something that someone else recently solved, figured out a way around, read about, etc. Just because something is new/old to you doesn't mean it's the same for everyone. These discussions often break up into a few smaller groups as the nitty-gritty of the issue is talked about, but it gives a great opportunity to talk with other people of varying skills/experience.
