Hello everyone,

I joined the list today and I would like to introduce myself. I'm a software developer originally from Washington, D.C. living in Chicago for two years now. I've been developing software nearly all my life, professionally for the past 6 years. I am a regular contributor to both the Doctrine [1] and Zend Framework [2] projects. I work for Sentact [3], specializing in healthcare targeted web applications. I'm often on IRC on the Freenode network as hobodave.

How often does this group meet? I've seen conflicting information on the website. I'm looking forward to attending a meeting.
