Hi, I have worked with Optit and Clickatel. If you are doing mobile originated messaging Optit.com might be a good choice for experimentation as you get 30 days for free. Either service is great for mobile terminated messages. If you want your own short code you are looking at a 2 month ramp up time and $1,000 a month there are shared short codes but I am not sure of the price. -Tom Domenic Roti wrote: > I've been looking into setting up a website with SMS functionality, I've been doing some research and found an excellent resource here: > http://www.developershome.com/sms/ > > They also had a list of SMS Service Providers: > http://www.developershome.com/sms/smsGatewayProvComp.asp > > I was wondering if anyone out there might have a favorite SMS gateway that they use - this is going to be a small private project between three developers so we're really looking for affordibility - anyone have any suggestions? > > Thanks in Advance > Domenic > > > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Verizon Developer Community > Take advantage of Verizon's best-in-class app development support > A streamlined, 14 day to market process makes app distribution fast and easy > Join now and get one step closer to millions of Verizon customers > http://p.sf.net/sfu/verizon-dev2dev > _______________________________________________ > chiPHPug-discuss mailing list > chi...@li... > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/chiphpug-discuss > -- -Tom Printy Office Hours: M-F 9:00am CT to 12:00pm CT www.edisonave.com 847-558-9154 |
