I¹m the web development manager for WCIU (U¹z Got It!), and am currently
looking to hire a full time web developer.  We¹ll be rebuilding the entire
architecture for the WCIU.com web site (it¹s currently one giant Flash
beast), and blasting that new architecture across all of Weigel
Broadcasting¹s media properties.

Web Developer (Full-Time)

Weigel Broadcasting is currently looking for a web developer to join its
team.  The Web Developer will be responsible for the development of new
sites and systems to support Weigel's portfolio of media properties,
including WCIU, MeTV, MeToo, and others.  The Web Developer will report
directly to the Web Development Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of web sites that use HTML, CSS, and various
server-side technologies (PHP, MySQL, etc.)
- Develop and implement news web-based interactive programs and features.
- Document and track problem/resolution activity to ensure timely
resolution.
- Document processes and procedures for the use of internal systems.

Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- 1-3 years experience in web site development and support
- Proficiency in HTML with standards-compliant CSS layout
- Proficiency with Photoshop and other graphic manipulation software
- Experience developing dynamic web sites using PHP and MySQL
- Experience with AJAX and one or more Javascript libraries a plus (JQuery,
Scriptaculous, etc.)
